Creating Jobs in the United States

I was listening to a news cover on unemployment and how no one seems to know what to
do about it.
When I look around me, there are so many people who are overwhelmed at their jobs.
With the current economic situation being in the pits, so many people simply "put up"
with more than their fair share on the job.
So why not job share.
Work less hours, yes it would result in a reduction of income, and share your job.
Split jobs in twos where possible.
No, I'm not suggesting a cut in benefits. That wouldn't work.
But clean up:
* Clean up benefits.
Health insurance is by far too expensive - don't even get me going on that topic...
* Clean up the wage system. The discrepancy between wages is too high!
Then create:
* Create by adding taxes. - yes, sooooo unpopular, but someone tell me how to keep the social benefits that are so needed and that we sooo envy other countries for, without raising taxes.
* Create new jobs. Split job responsibility.
And STOP:
* Stop complaining about the need to raise taxes
* Stop waiting for others (i.e. the government) to take action and do it all for you

Be proactive.
